FAQs

Facilities
We have a wood fired sauna and hot tub accompanied by a cold plunge, cold showers and an area to relax by the firepit. We provide tea for all sessions. There are also changing rooms and a compost toilet on site.

Please be mindful that we are an off grid spa so any running water is cold and lighting is solar powered.

What to bring
Your swimwear and 2 towels - one to dry yourself and one to sit on in the sauna. It's a good idea to bring a warm robe or coat and sandals too as the ground is stony.

How does it work?
Every weekend we run a 2hr session that is bookable per person (seating a max of 10 people). During this time you can alternate between the sauna and hot tub, cool down in the plunge or cold showers and relax by the firepit. This is a self led spa so how you spend your time is up to you.

Who can use HotBox?
Ideally we regard HotBox as an adult experience. However we do allow children of 12 years and over to join in any PRIVATE session as long as they are accompanied by an adult on a 1:1 ratio. We do not allow any under 18's in class or social sessions.

If you are pregnant or have any health issues, please refer to our terms & conditions above.

How many can use the facilities at a time?
For shared sessions we limit our group sizes to 10 people to offer the best experience to you and your fellow bathers.

If you would like to rent the space privately for a smaller or larger group, we can absolutely do this. Just drop us an email and we will cater a session around your needs.
